Testing was carried out on 30 July 2013 at Clonfeacle Road, Blackwatertown or Lisbofin, Co. Armagh, prior to a proposed extension to the sewage pumping station. Two test trenches were mechanically excavated across the proposed development area but nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered. A metal detection survey was also undertaken on the soils removed from the test trenches by James McKee; no objects of archaeological interest were identified.
