An archaeological evaluation was undertaken at the site of a proposed dwelling house as requested by NIEA: HMU. The site was located c. 100m south-west of a scheduled rath [ARM021-015 (s)]. A total of nine test trenches were excavated within the extent of the proposed development. The site was characterised by topsoil up to 0.45m overlying subsoil. Nothing of archaeological significance was found.
