It is proposed to conduct environmental improvements within the centre of Lisburn, Co Antrim. The improvement works will be located within Market Row, Bow Street, Pipers Hill, Graham Gardens, Market Street, Haslams Lane, Antrim Street, Market Place, Bachelors Walk, Railway Street, Bridge Street, Castle Street and Seymour Street. These streets are located within the area of archaeological potential for Lisburn. The majority of works requiring significant ground reduction will be located within Market Square and will include the construction of a below ground plant room.

In Market Square, during the excavation of the coffer dam trench limited archaeology, in the form of the remnants of a stone and mortar wall were uncovered and recorded. Otherwise nothing of archaeological significance was identified during the work at Market Square as part of the Lisburn Public Realm Project.
