An archaeological evaluation was carried out prior to the construction of a new car park, access road and site boundary landscaping at the Old Bushmills Distillery, Co. Antrim.
Monitoring of the ground reduction works for the access road was undertaken and two test trenches were excavated using a mechanical digger fitted with a toothless bucket.
No archaeological features were uncovered during the course of the evaluation.
