An archaeological evaluation was carried out with regards to a proposed Hydro Electric power scheme at Cleggan Estate, Co Antrim. The evaluation consisted of the excavation of a series of targeted test trenches within the footprint of the pipeline corridor located within Cleggan Lodge Demesne adjacent to ANT029-033, a multi-vallate rath. No archaeological deposits were identified through the test trenching.
