The concrete slab base for a garage was in place beside a bungalow at Kilmovee before planning permission (retention) was sought. During construction of the bungalow in 1998 several hearths were found under a shallow topsoil (Excavations 1998, No. 637, 98E558).
The site was inspected, and there was no indication that further hearths had been disturbed. No further disturbance took place.
