Under Section 3, of the Planning Schedule (No. 11/21), issued by Clonmel Borough Council and in agreement with DoAHG, all demolition and ground works associated with this project were monitored as the proposed development lies 15m outside, to the west of the medieval town wall but within the zone of archaeological potential for the town of Clonmel, TS083-019. Demolition and ground works were carried out from March to May 2012. No features or finds of an archaeological nature were uncovered.
