Further testing was undertaken in April 2012 as part of an on-going assessment of the proposed improvement of the N59 between Farranyharpy and Ballygreighan, Co. Sligo (see also Excavations 2011, No. 540). An area of 33m2 was excavated adjacent to SL018-040 (ringfort). The area was excavated to the level of subsoil. No archaeological features were recorded. No archaeological finds were retrieved.
