Additional Stage (i) a test excavations were carried out on the proposed realignment of the N60 at Oran (Carroweighter), Co. Roscommon in October 2012. A total of 25 trenches, amounting to 1397 linear metres were excavated, targeting areas not previously tested under a previous assessment (Excavations 2011, No. 520). All trenches were excavated to the level of subsoil. No archaeological material was recorded.
