This site was selected for excavation during the 2012 Bord na Móna Mitigation season. This togher site was identified during the course of the 2007 Peatland Survey carried out by ADS Ltd as LF-EDR005a-b. It ran parallel to and south of LF-EDR003ad to LF-EDR003ae and was visible on the field surface at two sightings for a length of 16m. It was orientated north-east/south-west and was composed of longitudinally laid heavy brushwood and roundwood elements. It varied in width from 0.12m to 0.19m and in depth from 0.05m to 0.55m. Nothing of this site remained in situ at the time of the excavations in 2012.
