Testing was carried out on an urban site in Kilmallock, Co. Limerick in advance of a commercial development. A total of 4 test trenches were excavated across the site using a track machine with a flat, toothless bucket from the topsoil down to the subsoil. Nothing of an archaeological or historical nature was encountered.
