Testing was undertaken for the proposed N63 Cloonfiugh Bridge Widening and Road realignment in the townland of Cloonfiugh, Co. Longford. The works were undertaken on behalf of Longford County Council.
Test trenching took place on 27 June 2012. A total of 178 linear meters of trenches were excavated across the area. No archaeological sites or artefacts were discovered during the course of the works.
