Following an AIA, pre-development testing was undertaken on the site of a single house development within the zone of archaeological potential for Moorestown Castle, KE033-009. Seven test trenches were excavated, 2 associated with an existing domestic structure to be redeveloped and 5 in the percolation area. All spoil from the test trenches was spread out and passed over with a metal detector. No archaeological features were revealed.
