Following the submission of an AIA with the planning application, pre-development testing was required as Further Information as the proposed single house development at Kilcoolaght, Killorglin was partially located within the zone of archaeological potential for an enclosure, KE065-002. Five test trenches were excavated and no archaeological features or artifacts were revealed.
