Limited testing was undertaken at the proposed location of a new school at Coláiste na Coirbe, Ballymoneen Road, Galway, in May 2012. A single trench was excavated by hand along the northern side of a potential standing stone identified in a previous Archaeological Impact Assessment. No archaeological material was identified.
