A programme of monitoring was carried out within the grounds of St Raphaela’s College, Kilmacud East, Stillorgan, Dublin 14, in response to a proposed residential development. The programme of works revealed that the area of development had been subject to a large amount of disturbance due to the construction of a sports pitch. No features of archaeological significance were identified during the removal of topsoil, overburden and the sports pitch surface.
