In 2011, testing was carried out at the site of a previously unrecorded burial ground in Rogerstown, Rush, Co. Dublin. Burials had been discovered during the laying of a cable as part of the East-West Interconnector Project. Radiocarbon dating of two of the burials returned dates within the 7th century. The testing report included a mitigation strategy for the archaeological site.

Reinstatement of the site took place during 2012 under archaeological licence. As determined by the National Monuments Service, no further excavations were carried out.
