Monitoring was carried out as part of the construction of an emergency operating theatre in response to a planning condition. The work was carried out on behalf of the Board of Guardians & Directors of the Coombe Women & Infants University Hospital. The development has a total area of 585m². All ground disturbances were monitored, but nothing of archaeological significance was identified.
