Monitoring of topsoil stripping and cable trench excavations associated with the High Voltage Cable—East-West Interconnector Project (HVC EWIP) was completed during 2012. Additional topsoil stripping of lands adjacent stream crossings was undertaken together with trench excavations along roads in the townlands of Rush, Ballymadun, Glebe, Corduff, Westpalstown, Whitestown and Wyanstown. Additional post-medieval pottery sherds and clay pipe stems were recovered from trench excavations along roads, as well as from a number of the greenfield areas. In addition, reinstatement of the lands comprising the cemetery complex uncovered in Rogerstown was also monitored by Clare Mullens (Excavations 2012, No. 244, 11E0235)
