At this large housing development site building works have been taking place intermittently over a number of years as has monitoring of each new phase of construction (Excavations 2009, No. 267, AE/09/76 and AE/09/84; Excavations 2010, No. 217, AE/10/119). A test trenching scheme was drawn up for the latest phase of development; it consisted of six trenches placed along the length of the site approximately 20m apart. No archaeological material was found.
