Assessment for the Bantry Harbour Development Project included field survey, marine geophysical survey, intertidal and underwater inspection within Bantry harbour and extending north to the Cove and Béicín Strand, and west to Abbey Strand. A sequence of three known but previously unrecorded stone-built slipways integrated within the construction of the south quay in Bantry were highlighted.
