Monitoring was carried out in nine areas for the Thurles Water Supply Scheme, Co. Tipperary between June 2012 and December 2014.The overall scheme consisted of the laying of a new water supply scheme to the north-west, west, south and south-west of the town, including sections within the western part of the town itself. Water intake will be from the Suir and Clodiagh Rivers. A separate licence, 12E0196, was sought to undertake testing on the scheme.

Two burnt mounds were excavated at Farneybridge, both of which covered single troughs and further features filled with burnt mound material.

At Raheen 1 part of two parallel foundation trenches from a single circular structure were excavated as well as associated post- and stake-holes and a large kiln. Post- and stake-holes and a further pit containing burnt material possibly related to the kiln were also excavated.

Archaeological features were also identified and subsequently excavated at Holycross and Knockanevin.
