Testing took place over one day prior to the development of a forestry road at Spinans Hill. The proposed road, which is required to allow machine access to existing forest plantation, passes over the line of a possible rampart associated with hillfort WI027-018.
A series of test trenches along the line of the proposed road did not reveal any finds or features of archaeological significance.
