Monitoring of groundworks associated with the construction of a single house was undertaken in November 2011. The site is located immediately to the south-east of WX025-005, a ringfort.
In 2008 the site was tested by Maurice Hurley, in response to a request for further information (Excavations 2008, no. 1292, 08E152). The testing did not uncover any features of archaeological potential within the area of proposed construction impact.
No features or deposits of archaeological potential were uncovered during the monitoring of construction-related groundworks at the site.
