Testing was undertaken for the proposed N51 Lisclogher Junction Improvement Scheme in the townland of Lisclogher Little or Earlsmeadow. The testing area was in an off-line greenfield section of the proposed junction. The works were undertaken on behalf of Westmeath County Council.
Testing was completed in one day, 5 July 2011. A total of 69 linear metres of trenches were excavated across the area. No archaeological sites or artefacts were discovered during the course of the works.
