Testing was undertaken for a proposed motorway service area in the townlands of Fassagh and Glen. The proposed service area was located within a 10.3ha area on the northern and southern sides of the existing M6 Dublin to Galway motorway. The works were undertaken on behalf of Westmeath County Council and the National Roads Authority in May 2011.
