A 20m x 20m area was excavated and cleaned at this site, which was excavated in advance of the N59 Farranyharpy–Ballygreighan Road Improvement Scheme. Three pits and a hearth were recorded. The form and function of these features was not clear, and there was no strong indication as to whether this was an extensively truncated site or the ephemeral features from an unidentified site beyond the footprint of the scheme. Bronze Age pottery was recovered from one of these features, and two radiocarbon samples indicated a date c. 1800–1700 BC.
