As part of the ongoing conservation works at Boyle Abbey, Boyle, monitoring of the removal of concrete pad foundations was undertaken in 2011 over three to four days. No deposits or human remains were exposed during the concrete removal. A fifth and final phase of excavation is due to take place in 2012.
