Testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed playing pitch for the Cooley Kickhams GFC in Grange Irish townland near Carlingford. A circular earthwork is located c. 30m south-west of the area of proposed development. Eight trenches were excavated within the area of proposed development but nothing of archaeological significance was identified.
