Testing was undertaken at the site of a proposed single residential unit at Back Lane, Castle Hill, Carlingford. Three trenches were excavated within the footprint of the proposed development. A fourth trench, excavated to locate water pipes near the entrance of the site, was also monitored. Nothing of archaeological significance was uncovered during testing.
