Monitoring of eight trial holes was undertaken within LI031-038, deserted settlement, on a greenfield site at Glenogra, Fedamore, in advance of the construction of a proposed dwelling. The trial holes were excavated to a depth of c. 3m; the stratigraphy consisted of a 0.2m depth of topsoil overlying a yellowish-grey gravel clay subsoil with frequent stone inclusions. A red, earthenware land drain was located in one of the trenches at the southern side of the site. Nothing of an archaeological nature was noted.
