Pre-construction testing was undertaken in advance of the expansion of an existing graveyard into a greenfield site. The graveyard is c. 1km north of the small village/hamlet of Glenade, which is c. 10km to the south of Bundoran town. The reason for the testing was the presence of a church (site), graveyard, holy well and headstone.
Five test trenches were opened on the site of the proposed extension. No archaeological features/remains were uncovered.
