It was a requirement of the Laois Towns and Villages Wastewater Improvement Scheme Contract C—Clonaslee Integrated Constructed Wetland that the works be monitored. The client was Killeen Civil Engineering, Cork Road, Portlaoise, on behalf of Laois County Council. The entire site was stripped under supervision and nothing of archaeological significance was identified.
