A limited excavation took place outside Jerpoint Abbey, to the east of the exterior wall of the 13th-century Chapter House. A single cutting to facilitate a ducting link was excavated to link two cuttings previously excavated by Patrick Neary (C and D, Excavations 2004, no. 891, and Excavations 2005, no. 810; 04E1512). The footings of the Chapter House were recorded in the cutting. Nothing further of archaeological significance was found.
