A possible cereal-drying kiln was previously identified in Brackloon td at approx. 115m OD. The site survived as a disturbed suboval cut (1.4m x 2.5m x 0.4m) containing a burnt deposit. The kiln had been ploughed out, mixing the deposits and probably disturbing the original stone lining (some displaced stone was observed throughout but in no meaningful pattern). The deposit was darker to the west and contained seeds and charcoal, and was the likely position of the drying chamber. No artefacts were recovered. A radiocarbon date was submitted but it was unsuccessful.
