Testing took place as part of the redevelopment of a petrol station and forecourt which were constructed on the site of a ringfort (KE029-120) in 1958. Five test trenches were machine-excavated in the forecourt area to the level of the undisturbed subsoil or the depth to which subsurface disturbance for this proposed development would take place. No archaeological features were uncovered.
