Testing and monitoring were requested as a condition of planning permission granted for a wind farm in the above townlands. Limited monitoring of peat removal took place in 2011. No finds or features of archaeological interest were uncovered. Testing of specific areas is due to take place in 2012 pending clear felling of forestry.
