Testing in Baile an Teampall was carried out in relation to a proposed upgrade of the Dún Chaoin Water Supply Scheme. The proposed site for the new filtration units and control building abutted the zone of archaeological potential around KE052-018, listed as a possible church site. No archaeological features or strata were encountered during testing.
