Monitoring was undertaken at Leenaun, Co. Galway, on 22–24 February 2011 for RPS on behalf of Galway County Council. The proposed development involves the construction of a water treatment facility and associated services works. The footprint size of the proposed treatment plant is 10m by 8m.
Topsoil was stripped across the whole of the development. No archaeological deposits or features were identified.
