Monitoring was undertaken on the right bank of the River Dodder in the vicinity of the Marian College, Dublin 4, in association with the final phase of coastal defence works along the Dodder. The work was carried out on behalf of Dublin City Council from September to October 2011. No features, finds or deposits of archaeological significance were identified. Monitoring along the left bank is due to commence in February 2012.
