Monitoring was undertaken in connection with the Eirgrid East–West Interconnector Cable. The works involved the excavation of a trench that would accommodate three polyethylene ducts from the Rush North Beach, Co. Dublin, into the Irish Sea to 8km below the high-water mark. No archaeological deposits or features were identified during the course of the works.
