An assessment was undertaken at Long Commons, Coleraine, in advance of development. A single 2m-wide test trench was excavated across the site, with a total length of 13m. This was mechanically excavated to subsoil at locations agreed with the NIEA. No archaeological finds or features were identified during the assessment.
