Test trenching was carried out on two areas forming part of the proposed site of a new manufacturing building within the Eli Lilly pharmaceutical manufacturing plant in Ballythomas West, Dunderrow, Kinsale. The areas tested were identified in a geophysical survey as being of archaeological potential. No archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered during test trenching.
