Monitoring of the excavation of a water-pipe trench at Bog Meadows Nature Reserve was carried out over one day in June 2011 at the request of the Trustees of Milltown. A c. 30m-long pipe trench was excavated in order to provide water-supply from an existing stream to a nearby pond. No archaeological remains were identified during the course of the monitoring works.
