Following the unauthorised excavation of a pit in the bailey of the monument, the NIEA requested the CAF to record its sections prior to backfilling. The pit was cleaned up and photographed and the sections recorded. No further invasive work was carried out during this exercise. Nothing of archaeological significance was encountered during monitoring.
