Tinnacross 1 was located on the proposed M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy scheme. The site was situated in pasture.

This site contained a circular grey/black charcoal-rich clay deposit, measuring 1.65m by 1.6m and 0.06m thick, truncated by a post-medieval stone drain. A copper-alloy spoon was retrieved during cleaning of the charcoal-rich deposit. This deposit may be associated with nearby cremation site Tinnacross 2 (see No. 825, Excavations 2010).
