Scurlocksbush 4 was located on the proposed M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy scheme. The site was situated in an undulating field of grass.
A total of ten features were recorded at Scurlocksbush 4. On excavation they all proved to be of no archaeological significance. The area was heavily affected by recent land clearance and the majority of the features proved to be stone sockets, root activity and two pits containing the remains of deceased farm animals. It is likely that this site was cleared at the same time as the demolition of two vernacular cottages 50m to the north-west (Scurlocksbush 3, see No. 821 below).
