Frankfort 6 was located on the proposed M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy scheme. This site was identified in a field which was in pasture and was recently cut for silage.
The excavation at Frankfort 6 revealed a single pit. The oval pit, which measured 0.87m by 0.7m and was 0.12m deep, was shallow with a flat base and concave sides. The pit’s only fill was moderate grey/brown silty clay which contained sub-angular stones.
The pit was identified as being non-archaeological in nature.
