Frankfort 4 was located on the proposed M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy scheme. The site was discovered in grassland which had previously been cut for silage. The field was on the apex of a hill and sloped downwards to the south-east and north-east. The field is slightly uneven with undulations across it.
Excavations at Frankfort 4 revealed that this site was non-archaeological. The apparent features were shown to be created by undulations in the natural geology that had been filled with topsoil by modern agriculture.
