Ballynabarny 4 was located on the proposed M11 Gorey to Enniscorthy scheme. The site was situated in a large field under pasture which slopes to the west. It is defined on all sides by an earthen bank with mature trees of elder, elm, holly and sycamore.

A large sub-oval pit measuring 3.35m north–south by 3.75m was 0.3m deep. Two large flagstones were found in the fill, which was loosely compacted dark-brown silt clay. The stones measured 1.6m x 1.6m x 0.1m and 1.6m x 1.5m x 0.1m. Modern green glass was recorded from the base of the feature beneath the flagstones, indicating that the site is of no archaeological significance.
